Estimated price of one sponsored feed post
How much do Instagram influencers make per post?
Published 2026 rate tables put a sponsored feed post at $10 to $100 for accounts under 10,000 followers and $10,000 or more past one million. The jump between tiers is large, and the sources don't agree in the middle, so both are below. Engagement, niche and audience country move a real quote inside each range.
| Followers | Influencer Marketing Hub (2026) | HypeAuditor |
|---|---|---|
| Under 10,000 | $10–$100+ | – |
| About 10,000 | $100–$500+ (10K–100K) | $100–$500 |
| About 50,000 | $500–$2,500 | |
| About 500,000 | $5,000–$10,000+ (100K–1M) | $5,000–$25,000 |
| 1,000,000+ | $10,000+ | Upwards of $25,000 |
How the calculator works it out
We place the account on HypeAuditor's anchor points (10K, 50K, 500K followers) and Influencer Marketing Hub's $10–$100 for small accounts, and read the price between them on a log scale. Between 500,000 and 1 million we move toward the 1M+ figures. The tables stop at 1M+, so for bigger accounts we show that floor with a plus sign rather than invent a number. The typical figure is the middle of the range.
Then we adjust for engagement. An account's engagement rate is compared with the usual range for its size (for example 1–3% at 10K–100K followers) and the price moves by the same ratio, capped between 0.6x and 1.5x. That adjustment is our own method, not an industry standard, and we show it with every result. It isn't applied past 1M followers. We don't price accounts under 1,000 followers: the tables don't cover them.
How does Instagram itself pay creators?
Instagram does not pay per follower. Most creator income comes from brands, and Instagram's own tools pay per fan or per programme. Instagram lists these ways to earn:
- Branded content and partnership ads: paid posts for brands, which is what this calculator prices. Brands can also find creators through Instagram's Creator Marketplace.
- Subscriptions: followers pay monthly for exclusive content. Instagram pays subscription earnings on the 21st of the following month.
- Gifts: fans buy Stars and send them on your reels.
- Badges: viewers buy badges at $0.99, $1.99 or $4.99 during a live. Payouts start once you reach $100, and Apple and Google take 30% of in-app purchases.
- Bonuses: payments for how your reels, carousels and photos perform, when Instagram offers them to your account.
Not every post can earn. Instagram's monetization policies rule out unoriginal reposts, slideshows of still images, looping clips and engagement bait such as "like this to win".
How do you raise your rate?
Rate calculators price on followers and engagement, and HypeAuditor lists what else moves a quote: content type, how long the brand can use the content, whitelisting (the brand running ads from your account), calls to action and exclusivity. Charge separately for each. Keep engagement up, show brands where your audience lives, and quote Reels above feed photos.
