How to analyze your Instagram profile
- Type your username. With or without the @. A profile link works too.
- Press Analyze account. We read your public profile, recent posts and reels.
- Start with the first fix. Fixes are in order of what holds your growth back most.
What the analyzer checks
- Engagement rate against the usual range for your follower count.
- Posting rhythm: posts a week, gaps and days since the last post.
- Reels: their share of your posts and plays compared with your followers.
- Profile: bio length, a link, and your follower trend.

Why isn't my Instagram growing? Common questions
Why is my Instagram not growing?
Usually one of four things: you post less than once or twice a week, your posts get fewer likes and comments than accounts your size, you post few or no reels, or your bio gives a visitor no reason to follow. The analyzer checks each of these against real numbers, so you can see which one is holding you back.
Why am I losing followers on Instagram?
Most accounts lose a few followers every week as Instagram removes inactive and fake accounts. Bigger drops tend to follow long gaps between posts, a change in what you post, or bought followers falling off. The analyzer shows your weekly follower change when we have earlier readings of the account, so you can see whether a drop is normal.
Does posting more often help you grow?
Posting more gives Instagram more chances to show your account to new people, but only if the posts get engagement. Three to five posts a week, with a good share of reels, is a common rhythm for accounts that grow. A steady schedule tends to beat bursts followed by weeks of nothing.
Is a private Instagram account harder to grow?
Yes. People who don't follow you can't see your posts, can't share them and can't find them through Explore, Reels or hashtags. A private account only grows through people who already know it. If growth is the goal, a public account is the first fix.
How is the score worked out?
We score the parts we can measure: engagement rate against the usual range for accounts your size, posts per week, days since your last post, the share of reels, reel plays compared with your followers, your bio and link, and your follower trend. Each part has fixed points, so the same account always gets the same score.
Does the account know I analyzed it?
No. Instagram doesn't notify anyone when their public numbers are read, and you never log in here. We read the same public profile, posts and counts that anyone can see without an account, and nothing is posted, liked or followed on your behalf.
