How it works

- Press Watch stories. Every currently active story loads as a thumbnail.
- Tap one to open it. Tap the right half to advance, the left half to go back, X to close.
Why this is genuinely anonymous
Instagram shows an account holder a complete list of everyone who opened their story, for the 48 hours it stays live. That list is built from logged-in accounts. Here, the request comes from our servers and you are not signed in to anything, so there is no account to add to the list.
That is the whole mechanism, and it is worth understanding rather than trusting: nothing is being hidden or spoofed. You simply are not the one making the request.
What you can and cannot watch
- Public accounts — yes. Every story currently live.
- Private accounts — no. If you cannot see it logged out, it is not public data, and anything claiming to fetch it wants your password.
- Expired stories — no. Stories vanish 24 hours after posting. If the account saved one as a highlight, the highlight viewer will still show it.
- Close friends stories — no. Those are only visible to the list the account chose.
Stories expire — highlights do not
The commonest disappointment here is searching an account that simply has nothing live right now. Stories last 24 hours. If you are looking for something you saw last week, it is either gone or it was saved to a highlight, which is a different tool.

No. Their viewer list only contains logged-in accounts, and you are not one here.
Do I need an Instagram account?
No, and there is no sign-in on this page.
Can I watch a private account's stories?
No. Private means not public, and no legitimate tool can change that.
Can I save a story?
Yes, there is a save button in the viewer. Bear in mind the creator did not necessarily expect that, so use it sensibly.
Why does it say no active stories?
Because there are none right now — stories expire after 24 hours. Try the highlight viewer for anything they chose to keep.
