Anonymous Instagram Story Viewer
Watch anyone's public Instagram stories without logging in. Your name never appears in their viewer list, because you were never signed in.
Looking for saved highlights instead? Open the highlight viewer →
Public accounts only. There is no login on this page.
How it works
Type the username
Just the handle. A pasted profile link works too.
Press Watch stories
Every currently active story loads as a thumbnail.
Tap one to open it
Tap the right half to advance, the left half to go back, X to close.
Can you view someone's Instagram story without them knowing?
Yes, if the account is public. Instagram builds the viewer list from logged-in accounts, and this page never logs in. Type the username, press Watch stories and every story from the last 24 hours loads here. The account sees nothing: no name in the list, no notification and no follow request.
Nothing is hidden or spoofed. You're just not the one making the request.
Does the airplane mode trick still work?
Not reliably. The trick is to open the app, let stories load, switch on airplane mode and watch. Only the first story or two are preloaded, and the app can send the view once you reconnect, so your name may show up anyway. It also needs you logged in. A logged-out viewer avoids all of that.
What you can and cannot watch

Public accounts: yes
Every story currently live.

Private accounts: no
If you cannot see it logged out, it is not public data, and anything claiming to fetch it wants your password.

Expired stories: no
Stories vanish 24 hours after posting. If the account saved one as a highlight, the highlight viewer will still show it.

Close friends stories: no
Those are only visible to the list the account chose.
Can you see who viewed your story anonymously?
No. The viewer list only shows logged-in Instagram accounts, so anyone who watched through a logged-out viewer like this one is not in it. No app or setting reveals them. Apps that claim to show hidden or anonymous viewers are guessing, or they want your password.
Frequently asked
Will they know I watched?
No. Their viewer list only contains logged-in accounts, and nobody is logged in here. They get no notification either.
Do I need an Instagram account?
No. There is no sign-in on this page. A username is all it takes, and nothing asks for your password.
Can I watch a private account's stories?
No. A private account's stories only show to followers it approved, and close friends stories only to that list. No legitimate tool can get them. Sites that say they can usually want a survey, a download or your login.
Can I save a story?
Yes. Open a story and press Save to get the photo or video file. Each story saves separately.
Why does it say no active stories?
Because there are none right now. Stories disappear 24 hours after posting. If the account saved one to a highlight, the highlight viewer still shows it.
Is it free?
Yes, for 5 accounts a day. Opening the same account again that day is free, and so are accounts with no stories or private ones. One view covers both the stories and the highlights of an account. After that you can wait for the daily reset or buy a view pack.
Why does it say "checked 3 h ago"?
Someone looked up the same account recently, so you see that copy instead of a fresh fetch. Stories past their 24 hours are removed from it, but a story posted in the last few hours may not be there yet.
