How do you check whether Instagram is down?
Every 3 minutes we load Instagram's site, a public profile, its image servers and its API from Cloudflare's network. Two failures in a row are needed before anything shows as down.
Instagram works for my friend but not for me. Why?
Outages are often partial, by country or by feature. If everything here is green, it's likely your phone or connection.
- Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or the other way round), turn off a VPN if you use one, and update the app.
- Still stuck? Log out and back in.
- On Android you can also clear the app's cache in Settings.
mei.linAre Instagram DMs down?
We can't test DMs, because our checks don't log in. A red App API row usually means DMs are hit too. If every row is green and only messages fail, press DMs not working above so others can see it. A message marked as failed can be resent by tapping it.
My FastSocial order hasn't arrived. Is it the outage?
Delivery pauses during an outage and resumes by itself once Instagram is back. If Instagram is up and your order hasn't started, email contact@fastsocial.co.
