What you actually get
It's one image tag wrapped in a link. The image shows your follower count, and we redraw it at most every 15 minutes, but only when someone's looking at a page that has it, so you don't have to update anything by hand.
How to add it to your website
Make your badge above, then pick your site builder. You'll get the exact clicks for that builder and your code next to them.
How to add it on WordPress
- Open the page or post and click the + block inserter.
- Search for Custom HTML and add that block where you want the badge.
- Paste your code. Click Preview in the block toolbar to check it, then Update.
Works on free WordPress.com too, because the badge is a plain image and link, not a script or iframe. On the classic editor, switch to the Text tab and paste it there.

How to add it on Webflow
- Open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed element onto the page.
- Paste your code into the box that opens.
- Click Save & Close, then publish the site.
Webflow only allows Code Embed on a paid Workspace (Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer) or a site with an active Site plan. Paste just the snippet, never <html> or <body> tags.

How to add it on Squarespace
- Edit the page and click Add block (or +) where the badge should go.
- Pick Code, then click the pencil icon on the block.
- Paste your code, leave Display Source off, and save.
Plain HTML like this works on every Squarespace plan (only scripts and iframes need Core or above). If you can't see it while logged in, use Preview in Safe Mode: visitors still see it.

How to add it on Wix
- Click Add Elements, then Embed Code, then Popular Embeds.
- Add Embed HTML to the page, click it and choose Enter Code.
- Paste your code and click Apply.
Wix puts embeds in a frame with a fixed size, so drag the box until the whole badge shows: about 44 px tall for Card, 28 px for Pill, 56 px for Big count.

How to add it on Shopify
- Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize.
- Open the page you want, click Add section and pick Custom Liquid.
- Paste your code into the Liquid box and click Save.
Dawn and most current Shopify themes have the Custom Liquid section. If yours doesn't, open the page under Online Store > Pages, click Show HTML (the <> button) and paste it there.

Embeds need Carrd Pro Standard or higher, and they don't show in the builder, only on the published site.

How to add it on Plain HTML
- Open the page's HTML file or template.
- Paste the code inside <body>, where you want the badge to sit.
- Save and upload. That's it, there's nothing to install.
To center it, wrap the code in <div style="text-align:center"> … </div>. The height on the image stops the page jumping while it loads.

Questions
How often does the count update?
Every 15 minutes at most, and only when someone is actually looking at a page with the badge on it. A badge nobody views doesn't refresh, which keeps it free.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no card, no limit on how many sites you put it on. The badge carries a small FastSocial credit, and that's the whole deal.
Will it slow my site down?
No. It's a single small image, around 1 KB, loaded lazily. There's no script and no tracking.
Does it work with a private account?
No. The count comes from the public profile, so a private account shows "private" and a handle that doesn't exist shows "not found" instead of a number.
Can I change the look later?
Yes. Come back, pick a different style, and swap the code. The count carries over, since every style reads the same number.
Why do you ask for my website?
So the badge's credit link is set up correctly for the site it sits on. We don't publish it or show it anywhere.
Why doesn't the badge show up in my site editor?
Some builders only run embeds on the live site. Carrd never shows them in the builder, and Squarespace sometimes hides them while you're logged in. Publish, or open the page in a private window, and check there.
