What you can see, and what you can’t
This tool renders what Instagram already shows the public: profile picture at full resolution, display name, bio, follower and following counts, post count, and recent posts. If an account is private, none of that post data is public and we show only the profile card — no tool can show you a private account’s posts, and any site claiming otherwise is either lying or trying to install something.
Is it anonymous?
Yes, in the only sense that matters: Instagram has no way to associate the lookup with you. We fetch the public profile from our own servers and proxy the images, so the account you searched is never told, and your browser never talks to Instagram at all. There’s no login step here, which also means there’s no account of yours to link the search to.

Instagram deliberately renders avatars small and blocks the obvious ways of opening one. The full-resolution image is public — it just isn’t exposed in the interface. The picture above is that original, served through our proxy so the link doesn’t expire and Meta doesn’t see your IP.
Engagement rate, and why it’s the honest number
Follower count is the number people quote and the easiest to inflate. Engagement rate — average likes and comments per post as a share of followers — is much harder to fake convincingly, which is why it’s the figure worth checking before you trust an account’s reach. We calculate it across the recent posts we can see; treat it as a solid indicator, not an audit.

Does the account know I viewed their profile?
No. Instagram doesn’t notify anyone about profile views, and in this case your browser never contacts Instagram at all — our servers do the fetching.
Can I view a private account?
No, and be sceptical of anything that says it can. Private means the posts are not public data, so there is nothing legitimate to fetch.
Do I need to log in?
No. There is no login on this page, and there never will be — a tool that reads public data has no reason to ask for your password.
Is there a limit?
There’s a daily allowance so the tool stays free and fast for everyone. If you reach it, it resets the next day.
