Instagram Downloader

Paste any Instagram link to save reels, videos, photos, carousels and reel audio, or type a username to get their stories and highlights. No login, no app, no watermark added.

Works with reel, post, story and highlight links. A username brings back their stories and highlights.

Save the file, not the link. Instagram's file links stop working a few hours after they're made. If one has expired, paste the link here again.

What this Instagram downloader saves

You get the exact file Instagram serves to a logged-out browser. We don't re-encode, upscale or watermark it, so a "1080p" or "4K" label on another site is just a label: no downloader can add detail Instagram never sent.

How do I download Instagram reels and videos?

  1. In Instagram, tap the paper plane or the three dots, then Copy link.
  2. Paste it above. The chip for the type it found lights up.
  3. Press Download, then Save on the file you want.

Works the same on iPhone, Android and a computer, with no account.

How do I download Instagram stories and highlights?

Type the username, with or without the @, and press Download. Their current stories load as a grid and their highlights as a row of circles. Open a highlight to see each story inside it. Every photo and video gets its own Save button, and you never show up in their viewer list.

Can I use Instagram's own download button instead?

Sometimes. On a public reel the share menu may show Download, but that copy carries a watermark with the creator's name, and the button disappears when the creator turned downloads off. You can save your own stories from the three dots. Other people's stories and photos have no save option in the app.

Why won't a link download?

Private accountno public file

The account is private, so there's no public file, or the post was deleted.

Story expiredgone after 24 hours

A story link only works while the story is live. Stories disappear after 24 hours unless they were saved to a highlight.

Sensitive contentneeds a login

Age-restricted posts can't be fetched without a login, and we never ask for one.

Is it safe to use an Instagram downloader?

It is when the site never asks for your Instagram password and doesn't make you install anything. Skip browser extensions for this: one that can read Instagram can usually read every page you open. Here the file goes from Instagram's servers to your browser, there's no login, and we don't keep copies of what you download.

  • No Instagram password, ever
  • Nothing to install, no extension
  • We don't keep copies of your files

Frequently asked

Is there a way to download a video from Instagram?

Yes. Paste the link of any public reel or video post here and you get the MP4 Instagram serves, with no watermark added. Inside the app, the share menu on some reels has its own Download button, but that copy carries an Instagram watermark and the creator can switch it off.

How do I download Instagram videos without the app or an account?

Open the post on instagram.com in any browser, copy the address, and paste it here. You don't need the Instagram app, an account or a login, and nothing is installed. Public posts only: a private account's posts have no public file to fetch.

Is there a free bulk downloader for Instagram?

For one post, yes: paste a carousel link and every slide comes back at once, photos and videos, numbered in order. A username brings back every story the account has up. Whole profiles aren't downloaded in one go, and there is a daily limit that keeps the tool free.

Does the creator know I downloaded their post or story?

No. Instagram doesn't notify anyone when a post is saved, and this page loads stories with nobody logged in, so your name never appears in their viewer list. Saving the file happens in your own browser.

Where do downloaded files go?

On iPhone, Save Video puts it in Photos; files saved from Safari's download button land in the Files app under Downloads. On Android, files go to Downloads and show up in Gallery or Google Photos. On a computer, they go to your Downloads folder.

Is there a daily limit?

Yes. 30 post links a day from one internet connection, and 5 accounts a day for stories and highlights. Both reset daily. There's no account, card or trial, and an account with no stories doesn't use up one of your 5.
