TikTok Creativity Program Requirements: The Full Checklist
To qualify for TikTok's Creativity Program (folded into the Creator Rewards Program in most markets), you need 10,000 followers, 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days, an account in good standing, to be at least 18, and to live in an eligible region. Those are the requirements as documented by TikTok, and the two numbers work very differently. Followers are a cumulative profile stat that only goes up. Views are a rolling 30-day window that resets continuously, so you have to be earning them at the moment you apply.
This page breaks down each requirement, what actually moves it, and where a purchased follower base fits honestly into the picture. The short version: you can buy your way across the follower gate, and you cannot buy your way across the views gate. Plan accordingly.
The five requirements, one by one
TikTok checks all five at application, and the app shows your progress toward the two numeric thresholds inside the Creator tools menu.
- 10,000 followers. A straight count on your profile. There's no rule about how fast they arrived or over what period, only that the number reads 10,000 or higher when you apply.
- 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days. The word authentic is TikTok's, and it's doing real work. These have to be views the platform served to real people through normal distribution. The window rolls, so a viral month in March doesn't help an application in July.
- Age 18 or older. Fixed and enforced, the same as TikTok's other monetization surfaces.
- Account in good standing. Recent community guideline violations block eligibility even with both numbers met. The program is TikTok paying you directly, so it holds applicants to a cleaner bar than ordinary posting.
- Eligible region. The program isn't available everywhere. Your app's Creator tools section is the authoritative answer for whether your country is in.
If you're earlier in the climb, note that TikTok LIVE unlocks at a much lower bar. We covered that separately in how many followers you need to go LIVE, which is the 1,000-follower gate. This page is about the 10,000-follower monetization gate, a different threshold with different mechanics.
What each requirement responds to
The useful way to read the checklist is by what kind of stat each item is, because that tells you which lever moves it.
| Requirement | What kind of stat | What moves it |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 followers | Cumulative profile count | Any follower ever gained and kept, organic or purchased |
| 100,000 views in 30 days | Rolling window, resets daily | Real For You distribution of videos posted in the window |
| Age 18+ | Fixed | The birthdate on your account |
| Good standing | Ongoing condition | A clean recent record, no active strikes |
| Eligible region | Fixed by TikTok | Country availability, shown in your app's Creator tools |
Three of the five are binary. You either clear them or you don't, and no amount of strategy changes them. The two numbers are where the actual work lives, and they reward different things.
The 10,000-follower gate, honestly
The follower requirement is a profile count, and purchased followers count toward it. That's a plain mechanical fact, and it's why the 10,000 threshold drives a steady share of our TikTok follower orders. On FastSocial, a 10,000 follower package runs $55, a 5,000 pack is $30 for accounts topping up from midway, and sizes go up to 100,000 for accounts building past the gate. If the count is the thing standing between you and an application, you can buy TikTok followers and clear it in days rather than months.
Now the caveat we'd rather state than hide. TikTok reviews accounts when they apply, and the review looks at the whole profile. An account that jumped from 400 to 10,000 followers with videos averaging 150 views is an obvious mismatch, and dead engagement next to a big count is exactly what gets applications rejected. Bought followers clear the numeric gate and make the profile read as established. They don't watch your videos, so they contribute nothing to the 100,000-view requirement, and they can't carry an application on their own.
The 100,000-view requirement can't be shortcut
TikTok's use of the word authentic makes this requirement purchase-proof by design. Views need to come from the platform's own distribution, meaning the For You feed showing your videos to real people who watch them. Bot views get filtered before they count, and view spikes with no matching engagement are one of the clearest fraud signals a platform can look for.
The good news is that 100,000 views in 30 days is more reachable than it sounds. That's about 3,300 views a day. A posting schedule of one video daily needs each video to average around 3,300 views, and on TikTok a single video that lands on the For You feed can cover a week of that quota by itself. Small accounts hit six-figure view months regularly, because TikTok distributes by video performance rather than by follower count. The tactics that get you there, hooks in the first two seconds, watch-through, sound timing, are covered in our TikTok growth guide.
The sequence that actually works
Given how the two thresholds behave, the efficient order of operations looks like this.
- Fix the content engine first. The views requirement is rolling, so you need a repeatable way to generate views before an application makes sense. Post daily, study what holds viewers past three seconds, and double down on the formats that travel.
- Close the follower gap in parallel. Organic follow-through converts better when the profile already looks established. A visitor who lands on an account with 8,000 followers follows more readily than one who lands on 300, so raising the floor early makes every view worth more. Delivery on our packages is gradual, no password is needed, and orders start within minutes.
- Apply when both numbers are real. When the view counter shows six figures for the trailing 30 days and the follower count is over 10,000 with engagement that plausibly matches, the application has what a reviewer looks for.
Accounts that buy the full 10,000 onto a dead profile and apply the same week are the rejection stories you read about. Accounts that pair a purchased base with videos that genuinely pull views are the ones that pass, because both numbers are true and the profile holds up to a human look.
The bottom line
The requirements as TikTok documents them: 10,000 followers, 100,000 authentic views in 30 days, 18 or older, clean standing, eligible region. The follower count is the one threshold money moves directly, and the views threshold is the one only content moves. Treat the purchase as buying back the months you'd otherwise spend grinding toward a number, then spend those months on the videos that earn the views. Follower packages and bundles for other platforms are on the TikTok packages page.
